I don't know how much better a Samsung is compared to the Sharp. Because I've owned the 32" it's picture, speakers are as good (to me) as any of the name brands with similar features. It has built in ROKU and with an HD Antenna, judicious choice in streaming with good wi-fi connection. You can drop cable and save a lot of money. I've had DirectTV for over 14 years, so my monthly (loyalty specials) is less expensive then the alternative I mentioned above. This TV is for the value shopper, not the brand shopper.
