• Roku always takes some extra time to load, but it's more due to your internet speed than anything else.

• It does not take very long at all to "boot up". Less than 10 seconds.

• It takes about 6 seconds from a cold start.. 3-4 seconds to get to the ROKU screen and then you just select HDMI, TV, or navigate to any ROKU selection in a couple of seconds. HDMI and. regular TV are the first two selections, respectively. Much faster than my computer boot
