A:AnswerI am sure you do not need it to watch the television. BUT you will need wifi/internet access to use roku, you tube etc. Smart TVs are wifi capable to do many difft things some can even search the web. Still a great deal even if for just viewing television though :)
A:AnswerNetflix comes already on it but you have to download YouTube there is a Netflix button the remote that you can press and it goes straight to Netflix
A:AnswerI bought 2 and just realized the power cord is under where my existing wall mount plates are. So now I guess I have to cut and modify my existing mounting plates or buy new mounts. Answer his question Sharp instead of telling everyone to call you!
