“Hi , I have a 40" Sharpe LED TV ( 4 years old) . The channel changing from the remote just stopped. And the manual channel change buttons on the left margin of the device won't work. The volume changers do work . Is this common?”

Haven't had that issue on mine but mine is programmed to my cable remote. When I do use the tv remote it still works at this point. Try programming to a cable or universal remote it should work. Good luck
