Can you tilt the tv down using the stand? null

Absolutely not it comes with a written warnings and 2 follow up call to ensure I understood the set up process, including how to remove It from the box. It is in a plastic bag with handles. It can be tilted if adequately if mounted and anchored. HOWEVER, on a fly surface it appears very Stable.
