“We have to turn the volume control quite high for OTA broadcast and certain streaming videos but do not want to leave it at such a high setting . My wife has a hard time pressing the volume control so many times. Any advice? Thanks?”

Hi, Sorry, I do not have any advice but we also have these same volume issues with our unit. It's very annoying and I empathize with your situation.
