“how is the sound quality”

• It was average. We never turned it up loud with music or anything. The picture was awesome. Could not get help with remote so I had to return display unit. It said geek squad reviewed and no missing parts so I bout it knowing I had 14 days to return and get extra protection. I went to the store to get another remote, called twice and no help so I was done. I could not get caught with an incomplete use purchase.... I am pondering on buying it again. Not too happy with the lack of customer service so I may just purchase elsewhere....Love this tv though, especially for the price/size/1080...its unmatchable for sure...

• The sound is very good. Much better than some LED TVs I have heard.

• surprisingly good for flat screen....clear sound heard in a fairly large basement room. Have not needed a separate sound bar.
