“How can I get my cable remote to navigate the home screen? I have set up my cable remote and it turns the TV off and on and manages the volume. However, when you first turn on the TV it takes you to a home screen where you need to choose which HDMI port or app you want to access. My cable remote does not allow me to navigate through this screen or choose the cable HDMI option. Any way to do this or just have to use Roku remote for home screen?”

The roku tv is considerably limited as compared to a regular "smart" tv. We ended up using only the roku remote. The roku remote turns on the TV, sound, channels, etc. After a few calls to sharp, I figured out what had to be done. We use this tv in our Cottage. I dont think I would buy this for my main tv at home because of the limited auxiliary ports, no aux. speakers access, etc. But the price was right an we like it for what it is....Best Buy Sales did not seem to have much info on this tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On my cable remote there is a button that says TV. When I push that it controls the TV and I can access the home screen no problem. If you have that on your remote it should allow you to do the same.
