Yes, you can use it for headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a headphone jack on the tv. But better yet, install the Roku app on your phone. You can sync with the tv and enable "private listening" to listen to headphones plugged into your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Audio output is fiber optic and I use it to send audio out to drive a little stereo, and the stereo has a headphone jack. And use a wireless pair of headphones whose base plugs into that headphone jack.You might be able to find reasonably priced pair of wireless headphones that take a fiber optic input and there might also be a converter that changes the figeroptic to analog audio. But the short answer is no, the regular audio plug of most headphones won't plug into a fiber optic output.
