“I purchased a Smart Roku tv. I don't want all the netflix , youtube , etc. I want to bypass all the setup for this and just be connected to my cable provider , comcast . Please advise”

That would be no problem. The only negative about this tv is that when you first turn it on it takes a few seconds to load all the apps,roku,sling,netflix,ect; I don't think you can get around them not loading. If you dont want any of this now or in the future i would look at a different tv. I bought this because it saved me money not needing to buy a streaming device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One of the other responders said you might have to wait for the Roku apps/channels to load first, but that is not correct. If you go to the power on settings and choose cable television as you indicated, it will power on and go instantly to your cable TV connection.
