“If my power goes out do I have to reconnect the Internet? Like type in the password every time? It happened today my electric flickered off and back on and it's making me redo everything. If this happened all the time I need to know so I can return”

I did not have any issues when power went out. Also bought a surge protector with battery backup so I don't loose cable, tv or internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know the answer. My best guess is that it should retain the settings. You can try unplugging the TV for an hour or however long your power was out. Plug it back in and if you have to re-input the settings then take it back.
