“How wide is the stand itself? I'm asking this because I'm probably going to get a new piece of furniture to place it on top of it. It would be nice to know the width of the stand itself.”

From leg to leg, the tv stand is 31" wide. Meaning the screen is 38" but its legs or stand are closer at 31" so it can sit fine on a stand as long as the stand is at least 31"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The tv itself is 38" wide. The tv on its stand or legs raises the tv and from leg to leg it is 31". Basically, if you are putting the tv on a stand, you will need a table at least 31" long for this tv to sit on.
