- Answer John, I use it as a TV and a computer monitor. You need to be certain your video card is powerful enough to produce a 4k resolution. Easy to change/upgrade to a video card capable of 4k in a Desktop, but using a Laptop might be disappointing if it is 1080 or 768 resolution. I am using GIMP software in 4K amazing the lack of details and horrid touch up performed in some of my images at 1080 resolution. With 4k TV @ $200 there is no reason to use 1080 any longer for cad, or pixel art software. These less expensive 4k may not make a gamer happy, but for me, the resolution upgrade has opened a new world... My only question for the future, with 8K resolution TV coming to US shops in 2019 will we have desktop video cards capable of that resolution quickly? JR

- Answer I have headphones collected wirelessly to my ps4, and the.y aren’t affected by the volume controlled by the tv remote. So I’m assuming that it’ll work like most other tv/speaker combos. If your speakers have their own power source (plus in, or batteries) then they control the volume. The more expensive the greater the chance of this, lol. And there’s a chance it’s a combo of both also. Really depends on so much.

- Answer Yes and you have a number of options. There is digital optical, analog RCA jacks, 3.5mm headphone jack and 3.5mm line out jack. I'm using the digital optical connection with a Vizio sound bar. The TV speakers may be turned off through the settings menu. It also features HDMI ARC (audio return channel). This allows the TV to output digital audio through HDMI 1 to a stereo or other device. No worries, there are three HDMI ports.
