Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is NOT part of the Aquos series from Sharp. Recently, Sharp sold over their North American name to the Chinese company Hisense, which will be producing sets under the Sharp name and keeping the Aquos line going. Best Buy also has a deal with Sharp where they can produce exclusive (mainly Boku-Based) budget sets for their stores. This is one of those sets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Obviously, Sharp isn't interested in employing people to seriously answer questions. The answer is that Sharp has an exclusive "made for best buy" series of sets that are not part of the regular retail offerings made by Sharp to other sales venues. Designs are by best buy for best buy sales only. This has proved to be remarkably useful for consumers in guiding the industry to determine what EXACTLY the buying public actually wants to throw money at in terms of feature set. Sharp is the hands down winner for quality control (at least historically) while offering MAXIMUM STRENGTH awesomeness per $ spent. Best Buy Exclusive Sharp manufactured sets are the epitome of this sub classification. Enjoy ^..^~
