Actually, outside of heavy sport usage video games (which I'd recommend a more expensive 120hz gaming monitor for), anything beyond 60hz has no real usage. It is advised you turn it off for most television and all movie viewing (films are at 29.7fps so it would look terrible on movies), so if you don't fall in the sports or heavy gaming categories, it is a pointless feature and people should not feel bad buying a TV that doesn't output 120hz or higher. If your tv has heavy shuddering and delay, it might be a manufacturing issue or something else. Ghosting shouldn't really be noticeable on most stuff you watch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You realize that the cable/sat boxes do not run higher than 60hz programs, right? So idk what you are thinking about but w/e.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is a 60Hz refresh rate. But for someone like me who is not overly picky, the picture is not bad. I do not see any shuddering or delay. I do once in a while will see a blur, but to be honest, my viewing mind adjusts to it. I bought this TV because it looks amazing FOR THE PRICE. Yes, you can spend more, but when I am not picky and I have my children watching this most of the time, why?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.60mhz is fine for me. I have this tv in 48" 1080 to replace a Samsung that I paid 4x as much for several years ago and failed after the warranty expr. This TV is same as my Hisense (Sharps are now Hisense) I love the picture quality. No stutters, freezes or ghosting issues EVER for BlueRays, DirecTV, Football, or sports. This TV kicks the stuffing out of my old Samsung. I already had a Roku external unit on a bedroom TV and loved the interface. This is why I got my TV with Roku built into it. It's a superb user interface and experience, the remotes simplicity is great for techies and non techies alike.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fake 120hz with horrible interlacing sucks. I personally would chose a regular, dumb, 60hz tv over a fake 120hz, "smart", and blurry from interlacing TV. The only content that is actually 120fps is video games from a strong PC, and at that point a "120hz" tv would be a bad idea because of the input lag and the fact that they are actually only a 60hz max tv. Movies, TV shows, etc. are all 24-60fps and interlacing just looks bad
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't notice any shuddering. For the price I wouldn't care
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For me it's the price point of the TV.
