“I purchased this unit thinking the "line in" could be used for a turntable for additional "output" of sound, but the output is virtually inaudible. If the "line in" works for a TV, why not for a turntable?”

• My guess is that you need to put a pre-amp in line with the turntable inputs (needed since magnetic phono cartridges have been used). $25 and a couple of cables.
