“Sharp 58"- LED 2160P-Smart-4K UHD TV with HDR- ROKU. I hook-up my speakers to the tv, so I can use my DVD player, but it does not work, it used to work with my previous tv Panasonic. Please help”

How are you hooking up speakers? Using a receiver or sound bar. You should be able to use hdmi or optical cable.

Please try again later.You need a 4k Blu Ray player with that TV not just a regular DVD player, and if you use the HDMI connection on the current DVD player the sound will work but you wont get any of the 4k HD stuff or even HD at all with a regular DVD play a waste of such a nice TV in my opinion if you dont have the proper 4k blu ray to go with a 4k tv
