The answer from the Sharp Advisor is not correct. There is no option to turn HDR under the picture settings. For example, the disney plus app plays video in 4k, HDR, but there is no way to turn off the HDR, so the picture is terrible. The only solution I have found is using an external 1080 smart device like roku. You lose the 4k, but at least the colors are better.

You may perform the below steps to disable HDR: Go to Home, select settings, select device preferences, select picture, select off to disable HDR.
