“How do I adjust the local tv picture, sound, and other settings when I am in an app like Netflix or Amazon? None of the tools, audio, or cc settings can be adjust while you are actively streaming a move through an app. Is this an Android TV limitation?”

Had the same question as well. No idea what the Sharp advisor's answer means. When you are in a HDMI input mode (from a UHD player for instance), its a different sequence where you hit the 'Tools' button on the remote, scroll all the way to the right for settings to change display settings. But while in an app, there seems to be no way to initiate a setting adjustment. you have to stop the content, get out of the app or hit home on the remote, change settings and then restart the app. Even that is extremely cumbersome and requires many key presses on the remote, something that should be done with a dedicated remote button. Very perplexing setup.
