The Red and White RCA connections on the TV are for (composite) audio INPUTS, not outputs. The TV has a mini-headphone jack on the back which gives you a stereo audio output. That might be exactly what you're looking for if you couple that with a mini-phono to RCA adapter cable... but you might be looking for line-level output, and this seems to provide a slightly higher headphone-level output. Also, when you plug a cable into the TV's mini-phono jack, it disables the speakers which are built into the TV. That might be exactly what you want, but if not, you might need another solution. In that case, your best choice may to find a tool that takes the TV's optical audio connection and coverts it into a pair of analog outputs. If you search Best Buy for "Digital to Analog Audio Converter", they've got a gadget (currently $29.99) that takes in an optical (SPDIF) audio connection from the TV and offers you those two red/white RCA audio connections that you're looking for. If you don't already have your own RCA cables, it appears to include a small length of cable for you to work with. Regardless, you may also need to purchase your own optical cable which runs between the TV to the converter box. Search for "optical cable" and get the right length, but even the cheapest cable should work just fine here. Don't forget to go into the TV's audio settings and try to find the digital output settings which work for you. Hope this helps!
