“Does this have a safety shut off so when I just want it to run 1 minute and enter like 100 minutes instead it won't cause a fire or worse?”

• It has "express cook" buttons from 1 to 6. if you want one minute just push the "1" button. Or press the "+30 sec" button under START twice.

• Hello Dave, the unit has a built-in Thermal Cut-Outs (TCO’s) which should prevent it from overheating. Once the unit reaches its maximum temperature, the TCO will shut the unit down and also prevent it from receiving power.
