• Hello, the dimensions of the unit are 23.2 x 13.3 x 18.9 in (W x H x D). When installing the product, allow 4 inches of space between oven top, sides, rear and adjacent surfaces for proper ventilation and do not block the air vents.

• Yes, l think that would be safe. The microwave is about 23in length. It's about 13 in in height and maybe 16in in depth. Mine is in a tight spot in my kitchen. But it has about an inch free space on the sides and an inch or two free space on the back. So l think it would fit on your shelf just fine.
