The system features programmable memory that allows you to set up to 32 song selections in any order you prefer, giving you flexibility in how you listen. It is a 5‑CD changer capable of playing standard audio CDs as well as CD‑R/RW and MP3 CDs. While it does offer a random play mode, that function operates on one disc at a time rather than across all loaded discs. Additionally, discs cannot be changed while one is playing; playback must be stopped before opening the tray to remove or exchange discs.
