“What kind of audio cable would I use to hook up external speakers?”

• Hello, the unit comes with the red/white audio cable in which the connection is to the back of the turntable.

• RCA specifically red and yellow. The cables are included with the player.

• You can't, unless they are powered speakers with RCA red and white called phono plugs. You'll need to connect the player to an amplifier line in or phono line in.
