• You'll have to buy a special cartridge/needle to play 78's. Bakelight 78's is another question. you might get by. I would buy another headshell for the 78's and just snap it on when you need to. There is a weight you can buy to put on a headshell to make it heavier, might be 2 grams, I forget.
