Asked by sideshot.
- A:Answer You cannot update the Shokz Opencomm2 without a dongle. I'm not even sure if it can be connected to a dongle. The response from Shokz shown to this question is incorrect and should be reported to Shokz for correction. The Shokz App lists these products as UNSUPPORTED (see screenshot): Openrun, Openmove, Openswim, Opencomm, Opencomm2, Opendots, Roadwave. The charging cable does not provide a data connection.

Asked by Seph.
- A:Answer Hi there- Shokz here! The OpenComm 2, will technically pair with gaming systems such as the (Xbox series X) but we don’t recommend it because the lag is significant and would impact gameplay, overall. The Xbox series X does not support direct pairing with OpenComm2 or any other Bluetooth headphones for audio output. To enable the connection, a compatible Bluetooth adapter is required. Q: QuestionIs this device compatible with hearing aids and be used with office telephones?
Asked by Mel.
- A:Answer Hi there- Shokz here! It depends on the hearing aids. Our headphones are not hearing devices; however we do have customers who use them to assist with hearing, usually by pairing the headphones to their phone and accessing a hearing aid app like Petralex, Ear Spy, Ear Trumpet, or Hear You Now. These apps use the mic on the phone to pick up surrounding sound and transmit it through the headphones. We kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy to learn of their return policy in the case these do not work out for you. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
