I use Google assistant with it. Hey Google call... And works great

No. On iPhone 12 running iOS 14.8, I first have to push the button on the side of the headset before I can talk to Siri. An exception is, if the phone is in front of me where it's built in mic can hear me, then Hey Siri will work without first pushing the button on the headset.
