“My parents are hard of hearing even with hearing aids and I want them to try bone conduction. Can the mic be used for ambient noise amplification like watching TV or conversation? If not do you have a device that can be used?”

Hi Jim- Shokz here! While Shokz has a strong community of individuals that are hard of hearing, as a sport headphones company, we don’t have the expertise to confirm whether our headphones can work for any particular person or medical condition. Our headphones are not hearing devices; however we do have customers who use them to assist with hearing, usually by pairing the headphones to their phone and accessing a hearing aid app like Petralex, Ear Spy, Ear Trumpet, or Hear You Now.
