QuestionI know that shokz offers only 1 year warranty for refurbished products. But an open-box is different and not refurbished. I wanted to confirm if this applies for 2-year warranty form the date of purchase like a new product?

- Answer Hi there- Shokz here! The OpenFit 2+ has just 2 buttons: the Touch Area, located on the flat part of the core, just beside the printed Shokz logo; and the Physical Button on the earbuds, located on the side of the core, just below the printed Shokz logo. The Physical Buttons control music, incoming calls, and volume. You can play or pause a song with a single click, skip to the next song with a double-click, and return to the previous song with a triple-click. If the volume is too low, press and hold the button on the right earbud to turn up the sound; conversely, use the left earbud to lower the sound. If there’s an incoming call, just press the button once to answer, and press it again to hang up. A double-click will ignore the call and send it to voicemail. - Answer Hello- Shokz here! Yes, the Shokz OpenFit 2+ earbuds can be used independently of each other for both music and calls. It does not cover abuse, misuse, loss, or theft. Your warranty begins with your purchase date. Both earbuds on the Shokz OpenFit 2+ contain microphones for phone calls. Google Translate software has recently started pushing live translation to some phone models. The Google Translate software can do the translation and you can hear the translations in your earbuds.

Shokz OpenFit 2+ uses Physical Buttons (for music/calls/volume) and Touch Areas (for audio/call management), with functions like single-click play/pause/answer/end, double-click next/reject, triple-click previous, and long-press volume control; you can turn them off by placing them in the case and closing the lid, but there isn't a dedicated "off" button outside the case, while "more" functions involve personalization via the Shokz App for custom commands and settings.
