The band rests on your neck and the speakers hoop around the top of each ear. The speakers will then rest lined up to each ear just in front of the opening of your ears. Pretty much just right below your temple on each side. If the speakers of.the headphones rest on your neck along with the band, you won't hear much of anything. Shokz will not bring on any headaches when worn as they should be worn.
