A:AnswerI have inner ear damage, but the nerves are still intact. These work by bone conduction and if you were to make your phone a microphone I don’t see why they would not
A:AnswerIf a person is within 2 feet of you or closer, they might vaguely hear some very very light sounds coming from the Shokz, but they would have to have very good hearing to accomplish that, especially if the volume is in the medium range.
A:AnswerMany come in mini or standard. I own the standard size and I have a big head but my coworker has a lil peanut head and they still sit comfortably on his head too.
A:AnswerYes. The band drops down to your neckline, below the helmet. You also don’t get the wind distortion usually associated with regular headphones, because of the unique design
A:AnswerYes, the part of the buds that contain the speakers has a magnet built in strong enough to help keep the buds touching when not worn (good for keeping it from getting tangled in a backpack for example)
You should reach out to your son's Neurosurgical team so they can check with the device manufacturer on this; due to the nature of how headphones work most audio devices contain magnets, it is just a question of how far the magnet is from the skin and the exact position of the VP shunt.
(this is not medical advice, just confirming that there does seem to be a moderately strong magnet in these earbuds and encouraging you to discuss with your son's provider team)
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, Shokz OpenMove headphones will work with an iPhone 6S, as they are compatible with most Bluetooth devices, including iPhones and Android phones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Our OpenMove headphones use a combination of bone conduction technology to deliver audio to your inner ear and AI noise cancellation for calls, filtering out environmental sounds from the microphone. This allows you to remain aware of your surroundings while ensuring your voice is clearer on calls by reducing background noise for the person on the other end.
When you're on a phone call, the OpenMove's microphones are designed to filter out background noise. The AI technology helps to isolate your voice from the surrounding sounds, making your voice clearer to the person you're speaking with.
Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions :) Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, the Shokz OpenMove headphones come with a USB-C charging cable. The cable is included in the box with the headphones, a protective case, and a user manual.
However, please note that the package does not include the USB wall adapter (the power block). You will need to use a separate USB wall charger or a USB port on a computer to charge the headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! Yes these will technically pair with gaming systems (i.e., PlayStation, Xbox, etc.) but we don’t recommend it because the lag is significant and would impact gameplay, overall.
And The PS5 does not support direct pairing with other Bluetooth headphones for audio output. To enable the connection, you need to use a compatible Bluetooth adapter, and plug the adapter into the PS5's USB port. But it should work for any Shokz models, better with the OpenComm2. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Most wearable devices include low-powered radiofrequency (RF) transmitters to enable them to communicate with other devices nearby. To be sold in the United States, all such devices must meet Federal Communications Commission (FCC) limits for human exposure to RF radiation. Wearable devices expose the user to lower amounts of RF radiation compared to exposure limits. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHello Veronica- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. The OpenMove should be able to connect to multiple devices. In this case, we'd suggest a manual reset of the headphones. If the reset doesn't resolve the issues, all Shokz come with a 2-year warranty. Please reach out to us if you need further assistance. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenMove can be used with most Bluetooth compatible devices. However, we are not sure if the TV allows for both headphones and the TV speakers to work at the same time. We kindly ask that you look into the TV model to see if that is possible. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions regarding your Shokz. Thanks!
