My new kindle fire is 10.1" will it fit on this item? null

The newest fire hd 10.2019 has USB-C (2.0) cable ,so this stand has a smaller usb type,that will not fit the 2019 version!

Yes, if you have the newest 10 inch. I have an older 10 inch also, which will not work with the item

Yes...it is specifically made for the 10.1. They have other docks for the other sizes (the size is listed on the box).

It might fit, but unless the kindle has two contacts on the back, it won't charge, which defeats one of the purposes of the stand.

Yes. Mine does. The cover that comes with it has magnets that center it on the contacts. However, look out for having games in the background. If I have it on the charging dock, but have a game like Walking Dead in the background, it may not charge as fast, if at all.
