I love my Fire 10. Using Alexa on it has been a joy. The problem was, I was using the Amazon Folio Case and it is not ideal for certain table tops. So, in comes the Show Mode Dock for your Fire Tablet. I was intrigued at first and after using it for a week, I was really disappointed at the execution. The design is great. You save room on your table top and the base is very sturdy for a tablet the size of the Fire 10. The shell that comes with the Show Mode can be used as another thin case when you decide to take your Fire in your hands. Where I have issues is that there are tiny magnets at the bottom where you slide the shell onto the base. This is where it charges your Fire Tablet. It is also very easy to knock it off the charge. This happened a lot as everyone in my house would bump into the table it was resting on. My biggest issue was that the Fire has a really bad battery life to begin with, having it constantly plugged into the Dock for charging would kill the battery even more. I noticed at least a 25% fast drain on my battery since I purchased this. Again, I love the idea but not a good idea for your Fire Tablet. I recommend just using your tablet AS A TABLET.

I bought this size kindle and quickly realized it was too big so I got the smaller kindle and decided to use this to watch videos while Im in my art room. At first Alexa show mode wasn't automatically coming on when plugged in but is fixed it self. Im not sure if that had to do with it being an open box item or not. Open box meant I saved $5. Not a huge savings but a discount all the same for the same device unopened. Even with it being an open box after that small issue worked itself out it works well. It charges and I like the use of the stand that's my main purpose for purchasing it. The stand is perfect for when Im watching videos and making art in my art room I got the kindle from HSN and it came with a free case that I had to remove. That's not a big deal. Just put it back in the case when ready to travel.

I am very satisfied with this product. I use it for what it is...a charging stand and good for use when watching videos. I purchased this not for just the ease of charging my devise when not in use, but for viewing my videos. The fact that you can change viewing angles is great. Overall it fits my needs and am happy with this product.

Great case that really protects the tablet and also doubles as a stsnd and charger.

It not only charges but also acts as a stand. It holds my fire HD 10 really well....I took off its bulky case...put a good screensaver on it and now I always keep it on the charging dock. It doesn't slip off and really looks nice! It keeps it charged.....it's very nice to have....unless you really enjoy keeping your fire shut up in a case. I would buy it all over again!

I use my tablet extensively for travelling, on the airplane, in the hotel room, as my Alexa device, etc. The stand requires a case that plugs into the tablet, not necessarily wireless charging, as there are two prongs on the back of the case that contact the base unit (watch for dirty contacts). It sometimes will move off those contacts when you least expect it, allowing the battery to die unintentionally. You also have to remove the case to plug in the charging cable for charging, say, on the airplane where the base won't keep the tablet aligned on the prongs. Nice concept but needs better design to be truly "wireless" charging.

I bought the dock after seeing how my mom's worked on her Fire HD 8. She always has the charging dock plugged in so she would just line up the magnets from the tablet to the charging dock and it charges. Very simple and convenient. Two things are different with my Fire HD 10. I bought the cover case so that has to be removed before putting the tablet into the sleeve that you have to use for the charging dock. My mom didn't have the cover case so I didn't realize until I bought mine that they don't work together easily. I have resorted to just using my cover case and the charger that came with my tablet because I take it to work with me every day. I hope there will be a use for the "show mode" the longer I own and use my tablet.

Like the easy setup, like how easy it is to use as a charger as well as have Alexa available all the time will on unit great product.

We bought this dock with the 10" Fire Tablet to make it easy to view and keep the tablet charged. It does a good job. The only suggestion for improvement is in connectivity. 99% of the time it locks into charging on first try, but there are times a little wiggling is necessary to get the connection right. It's minor and overall happy with purchase.

I got this in a bundle with the tablet at a reduced price, but I still don't really think it was worth it. I love the tablet I got but this stand isn't that useful to me. It's overpriced for what it is, and it requires you to use the case it comes with, because it connects to the tablet through contacts on the case, not the tablet itself. That wouldn't be a huge problem if the case was good, but the plastic feels cheap and it doesn't cover the screen. I just don't like it very much. And I bought that garish, bright red tablet for a reason. I don't want that thing covered by a boring, black case! I could see this stand being useful for a small handful of people, but for most I just don't think it's worth it at all. Pass.

This Amazon Fire HD 10 Shoe Mode stand/charger is a game changer! It takes a one dimensional tablet and turns it into a 3D device. It takes your commands and turns them into sound and vision delights. It can act as a clock or a whiteboard or as digital signage. It will play music and give you the lyrics or play a movie or display your video doorbell. It makes your tablet so much more valuable. It is worth every cent. Please consider this to complete your Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet purchase!

Works Great! Makes using the tablet much easier! Not as good as an Echo Show but comes close.

The dock works as advertised. When you put on the cover and set it in the dock, it charges and chimes to put it self in show mode. When you remove it from the dock, it chimes again and changes to tablet mode. If you want, you can turn off show mode in the settings and when you put it in the dock, it will charge and be in tablet mode. So you could still use it for whatever you would like. The dock adjusts to different angles. I'm glad I bought it.

This is my 2nd purchase of a fire charging dock. I couldn't bekieve it gives you another Show for such a good price. It doesn't fit all but now that we have two and use thr tablets more, we may add a 3rd. We also have a first generation Amazon show and 4 of rhe echo show 5. To me if you have a fire tablet and the correct generation, then you would love to have this.

Serves as a great docking station and charging pad for my tablet. Simple and sleek.

This docking station helped keep my Fire tab charged without having to continue looking for the correct wire charger. I like being able to do things quickly and this provides that.
