• A:Answer No, this will not work. The MVX2U gets power from the USB connected devices such as a computer or mobile device. In addition, there would most likely be level mismatches between the headphone signal and the expected mic level signal on the camera.

• A:Answer Hello - The Sony's A7iii's USB-C port would need the ability to receive audio (act as an 'audio in'). That being said, while it may work with the camera, the MVX2U is designed to work with a laptop and use our free MOTIV desktop app to utilize the full benefits of the product including gain control. compression and phantom power for use with condenser microphones.
