NO. This item attaches to your roku remote not your tv. It is an add on to the remote so you can use one remote for DVD blue ray etc. it is not the actual streaming stick. I had a hard time getting it attached to the remote and just did not understand how to set it up so I returned it. I thought it was a universal remote to use instead of the one that came with my tv but instead it was a clip on universal remote that makes your tv remote "expanded" with the additional buttons to work your other machines connected to the tv.
