• As long as you have original tv remote you should be able to program it for tv on/off.

• The SideClick works independently from the Roku remote. If you have the Roku remote configured to turn on and off your TV you can use the on/off button on the SideClick for other devices you might want to control. In my case I use it for the soundbar (that Roku does not support!)
