• Yes I programmed the+, -, B buttons to control my playbar volume and it works great!

• If the sound bar has an IR remote, you certainly can. While in "learn mode" you press the button on the side click that you want to use, then press the button on the device remote while pointing it at the side click. The side click has now learned from the original device remote. It can learn a different button from different remotes.

• I have 2 Sideclicks... As long as your soundbar has a remote, it will learn from that remote. And no codes to worry about. You just place the remotes next to each other and choose what buttons you wish to learn from.
