• Yes, I’ve taken several and they’ve turned out amazing. Hand held are really good, but tripod (as usual) are even better.

• Jack, Yes this can. However you will probably want to crop the image to zoom in on the moon closer. Here is a shot of the moon I took on my Canon 6d Mark 2 on a hazy night with a little bit of Lightroom edits to make it easier to see along with cropping.
