• It will mount to a 5d Mark ii, iii, iv, or any full frame Canon (or Nikon, if you choose that version), but it is designed for APS-C crop sensor cameras. The rear mount opening is smaller to fit the actual size of these sensors, so significant vignetting will appear on a full frame camera from 18mm through about 28mm. Long story short, you won't want to purchase this lens unless you are pairing with a crop sensor camera.

• Probably not, this is designed for the crop sensors, not the full frame cameras.
