Yes, absolutely! It is a great choice for a walkaround lens on a Sony a5x00 or a6x00 camera body. It is the second-sharpest lens currently on the market for the smaller mirrorless 5/6 series e-mount Sony bodies. But if you take lots of landscapes or do night (astro-) photography, get the Sigma 16mm f1.4, which is absolutely the sharpest e-mount lens on the market. Back to this lens... The 30mm on the 1.5 crop factor APSC is a nice look. I still have and use my prior-generation Sigma 30mm f2.8 Art Series lens, and I have to say that it is a great deal if you *need* to save a little cash. Both 30mm lenses have a 45mm view area, which is just a little wider than what your everyday eyeball takes in when looking at the world (approx. view from a 50mm lens). This lens is currently on my must-upgrade list...behind its Sigma brother the 16mm...because I have an overseas trip coming up. I'll be shooting landscape primarily for that trip...
