• It's to attach to a lanyard or add additional keychains (accessorizing).

• The strap is for you to slide your hand in it. The metal clip keeps the strap attached while your hand is in it.

• Personally I attached a lanyard to it. (You could use waist strap or larger to wear around neck, either way it’s an extra protection from dropping.)
