Hi Remskee, We'll be happy to answer your question. Unfortunately, the Solis Lite cannot be connected via USB to a home router to act as a backup or secondary WAN. The Solis Lite is designed to function as a portable hotspot that provides Wi-Fi for devices, not as a direct USB modem to connect to a router. Best, Simo support
