Can the wire be rolled into the base of this lamp? null

Hey Rob, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there isn't much room internally for the 5 ft. cord to roll up inside of the base. Additionally, there is a plastic stopper meant to protect against fraying that would inhibit the ability to roll up excess cord inside. I would not recommend it.
