“Will this work anywhere? As in if I’m in the middle of nowhere, will I be able to get internet service with this? Or would I need to get something for satellite internet service? I’d like to be able to work from anywhere.”

It goes off cellular signal so if you’re in BFE you may want to get a satellite service
