• Pay SimpliSafe only if you want monitoring. About $16 per month without phone app control of system, about $26 with that convenience. What a change from previous system. Just three settings: off, away, and stay. Simple. And it works great.

• To have central monitoring where breakins are reported to local police, its about $15/mo. You can also have panic alarms, fire alarms reported to the central monitoring.
