• This unit is only a sensor. The home unit is the alarm with siren. With monthly monitoring service subscription you get the full benefit rather than on-site alarm only.

• The base station's speaker is medium loud, anyone inside the house will definitely hear the siren. Outside, not so much. You really need the external siren (sold separately) to alert neighbors.
