• These just charge the battery in the camera during the day while sunlight shines on the panel. They do nothing at night. At night, the camera runs in the camera battery.

• The solar panel works entirely from the sun. The camera works at night as long as there is movement, otherwise it goes to sleep.

• It’s purely a charger. No battery associated with the unit. Trust me as long as your placement is good where you get at least 3 hours of sunlight then it will charge perfectly. Make sure to have camera fully charged first.
