“I have read this system has a "chip" that will work on cell towers. Can you tell me if this can be customized to a Verizon Cell Tower? I'm not sure it would work in my location with any other service.”

SimpliSafe will provide the needed chip. The original chip with the purchase did not function well in our area and they provided a chip for Verizon. Its as simple as unplugging the old chip and board and plugging in the new one.
