• As you walk up to my front door my doorbell is located to the left. So basically my front door faces south and my doorbell faces east. It works perfectly that way. I get a good view from the camera. I did use the wedge upside down to point the camera up a little. Hope this helps

• Yes. I installed mine that way. The camera will pick up the side of the “wall” and that will limit a small amount of viewing area but I am satisfied with mine.
