Yes as long you not submerge the probe.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The probe works by having metal contacts on the underside. When there is water between them, they conduct and send an alert. You should be able to wipe off the outside of any grease, but if the sensor is submerged I think it would probably break.
